It’s almost time! It’s the Keighley leg of the TEAM HONK Blogger Relay!

It’s almost time for our Team Honk challenge!

On Friday we will climb on our bikes and cycle around Haworth, Keighley with Gabriel and Willow carrying the Team Honk baton which is travelling via bloggers from Lands End to John O’Groats all in the aid of Sports Relief. Gabriel and Willow will be dressed in very appropriate ‘yellow jerseys’ for authenticity and we will be fundraising along the way!

We will then take the baton via car to Huddersfield ready for it’s journey to our blogger friends in Manchester along the canal.

We are very excited to be taking part in this challenge, and cannot wait to see Gabriel and Willow cycling up and down Main Street in Haworth on their Toddlebikes!

Keighley Twitter queen Mich-elle Crowther and her family are getting in the saddle for a Sport Relief fundraiser.

The Crowther clan will this summer carry out the local leg of the Team Honk relay from Lands End to John O’Groats.

Michelle and husband, David, will next month cycle through Haworth and head towards Huddersfield.

The couple’s two-year-old son, Gabriel, will cycle part of the route, and their one-year-old daughter, Willow, will also take part.

Michelle runs the @keighleypeople Twitter feed, tweets herself as @thecrowtherclan, and writes a monthly Keighley News column about the Clan-destine Cake Club.

She is a member of Team Honk along with many other UK bloggers, Tweeters and Facebookers.

About 150 members will try to raise £20,000 for Sport Relief this Spring by carrying a baton on a 300-mile journey lasting six weeks.

She said: “The Crowther clan are very excited to be part of the West Yorkshire leg, along with some lovely bloggers.

“On March 7, we will collect the baton, travelling via Haworth on our our bikes, then drive a short distance to the canal.”

The West Yorkshire journey also includes bloggers like cyclist Helpful Mum, Eehbah-Mum who will Morris dance from Ilkley, and PretAMummy, who will run from Silsden to Keighley.
